THE NEW MAN TGE IS COMING
The new Man TGE van will arrive in 2025 and features new safety and assistance technologies compared to previous versions, therefore representing a notable leap forward in quality and functionality. It is a vehicle of a significantly higher level than normal standards and is excellent for very demanding customers.
On the new TGE, 11 new assistance systems are available for a total of 27, including the touch display to control the vehicle functions, the digital instrument panel, which allows the vehicle to be started without inserting the key, the multifunction steering wheel and the electronic parking brake.
This new generation vehicle meets the highest safety requirements, significantly increasing the safety of drivers and other road users. When we talk about security, we also talk about it from an IT point of view, because the Man TGE is protected against digital manipulation and unauthorized modifications to the vehicle´s software.
Another important feature is the combination of new control units and new radar sensors with cameras that warn of any blind spots and an absolute novelty is the system for recording and memorizing the parameters and information relating to accidents, allowing an exact reconstruction of the facts. In short, it represents what in jargon is called the infamous black box. It also provides 24-hour roadside assistance and direct communication between the vehicle operator and the workshop.
The new Man TGE is available in three power levels with a 102 horsepower engine and its production will begin in June 2024 with others to follow throughout the year.
