ALL THE NEWS COMING IN THE 26TH EDITION OF THE ECOMONDO FAIR IN RIMINI
The 26th edition of the Ecomondo fair in Rimini ended on November 10th, which like every year offers an extensive program of conferences, seminars and events aimed at examining the main innovations at a technological, regulatory and market level in the circular economy sectors. to prevent environmental risks.
The transport sector had a lot of space at this trade fair with the presentation of the latest innovations in terms of sustainability to have greener and more circular, fresher and healthier cities. Much space was given to research and innovation with the illustration of European funding aimed at supporting new interventions.
Among the companies present in Rimini was Scania which presented various solutions resulting from the continuous improvement of products and services: from vehicles also compatible with fuels from renewable sources, to battery packs for electric vehicles, to new services linked to the digitalisation of the vehicle when charging. Various market innovations were presented regarding the most recent models of street sweepers, equipment for industrial and special vehicles for the collection of solid and liquid waste and vehicles for drainage.
Large trucks also found space inside the pavilions of the large exhibition centre, where operators were able to try them out both as drivers and passengers.
Another important company present at Ecomondo was Iveco, which brought its range of sustainable solutions with electric and natural gas traction.
In short, Ecomondo was a showcase for 17 companies which, with around 600 million euros in turnover, represented over 70% of the sector in Italy.
