THE NEW PIAGGIO ELECTRIC PORTER RANGE ARRIVING BY 2024

Piaggio has announced that the new Porter will return in 2024 in an electric version thanks to an agreement that the Pontedera manufacturer has stipulated with the Chinese Foton Motor Group for the joint development of this new range of electric vehicles, which as we have already said, they will be marketed within next year.
The agreement signed between the two companies provides for the production of the famous vehicle in two 100% electric four-wheel variants, designed to better respond to the specific needs of city mobility with a load capacity of at least one ton. But not only. To comply with all European safety regulations, new driver assistance systems will be installed on the new version of the Porter.
The distribution of the new vehicles produced will take place first in the main European countries and then in Italy, but the agreement stipulated in Beijing will allow the Pontedera manufacturer to expand its market also in Asian markets.
