REPORT ON REGISTRATION OF TRUCKS AND INDUSTRIAL VEHICLES IN MAY 2023

The registration data for the month of May have been announced by the UNRAE (National Union of Foreign Motor Vehicle Representatives). Despite the positive data that you can read thanks to the table attached here, however, no sign of improvement emerges in the troubled path on the ecological transition and non-electric vehicles continue to be sold. And above all it does not encourage the attempt to modify some objectives of the PNRR which tends to eliminate projects for the installation of columns for recharging electric vehicles which are currently not very present to say nothing on our roads and highways.
To allow the decarbonisation of freight transport to take off, the obligation to scrap a traditional fuel vehicle in order to purchase an electric one must be eliminated, then the possibility of taking advantage of the incentives for the use of electric vehicles must be extended to rental companies and finally extended to different power supplies from electric (including diesel), against scrapping with decreasing amounts depending on power supply and mass.
