EXEMPTION FROM PAYMENT OF THE CONTRIBUTION FOR THE OPERATION OF THE TRANSPORT REGULATORY AUTHORITY

n order to mitigate the economic effects deriving from the exceptional increases in the prices of fuels and energy products, for the 2023 financial year, art. 35 of the Labor Decree, launched on 1 May, provides that road haulage companies on behalf of third parties, registered in the national register of legal and natural persons engaged in the road haulage of things on behalf of third parties pursuant to the law of 6 June 1974, no. 298, are not required to pay the contribution, pursuant to art. 37, paragraph 6, of the decree law of 6 December 2011, n. 201, converted, with amendments, by law 22 December 2011, n. 214. To this end, expenditure is authorized within the limit of 1.4 million euros for the year 2023, which is covered by means of the corresponding use of the resources referred to in the Current Fund referred to in art. 34 ter, paragraph 5, of the law of 31 December 2009, n. 196, registered in the estimates of the Ministry of infrastructure and transport.
