TRAILER MARKET IN THE ITALIAN MARKET AND OFFER OF NEW ALTERNATIVE DRIVES
The 31st International Construction Machinery Exhibition will be held from 3 to 7 May in Verona and is the only event in Italy that deals with this sector.
This year´s edition will focus heavily on environmental sustainability, which has now become the beacon towards which all car manufacturing industries are heading to reduce emissions. Moving towards a "green" approach, and we have explained it several times in these pages, on the one hand also means reducing the economic and environmental costs that operators would incur, on the other it means achieving an overall improvement in performance.
As every year, at Samoter in Verona there will be space for sophisticated technologies that connect human beings with machines and machines with other machines, allowing the progressive automation of construction activities, the development of efficiency and the safe management of the most dangerous.
In the construction machinery sector, Italy holds an important market in Europe, while in the internal market, according to 2020 data, the building and construction sector generates a very important induced activity, which employs 6% of the employable population and the 4.5% of GDP.
The construction sector went through a period of severe crisis, especially in the period from 2008 to 2017, where 400,000 jobs were lost, but thanks to building bonuses, in particular the 110% superbonus, the situation has improved with the creation of around 15-18 thousand jobs, of which 10 thousand directly in the construction sector, the rest in related sectors.
