THE FIRST ELECTRIC TRUCK MIXER FROM VOLVO TRUCKS

The truck is battery operated and with a single charge during the break, the truck can carry cement for a full day´s work, while also ensuring a better environment for both construction workers and nearby residents thanks to its quiet operation .
The launch of the first electric concrete mixer seals a global partnership to enable companies to make purchase commitments that create demand for low-carbon technologies.

The technical data sheet of the concrete mixer informs that the vehicle is equipped with 4 batteries of 360 KWh with a mixer body which is powered by a hydraulic system driven by a traction battery. The vehicle is also equipped with two engines with I-Shift gearbox with wheelbase of 4,100 mm with 9 cubic meters of superstructure.
