THE MINISTRY OF TRANSPORT ALLOCATIONS 25.3 MILLION EUROS FOR THE BONUS FOR LICENSES
The driving license bonus is a refund that is attributed to men and women under 35 who decide to obtain a driving license and the Driver´s Qualification Card, documents necessary to work as a haulier.
Today those who decide to undertake this hard and tiring job must know that some money is needed for courses and preparation and that is why the Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport has made 25.3 million available to those who have the requisites euros to reimburse the expenses incurred.
The 2023 driving license bonus is financed by the "Young driver driving license program" fund, which has allocated 5.4 million euros from 2023 to 2026, covering up to 80% of the costs incurred, as we said, for a value maximum of 2,500 euros.
This measure does not have the generic purpose of helping only young people to get a driving license necessary to find work, but it is a form of concrete help for the entire sector, given that it has been suffering for some time from a chronic lack of young people who want to do this job . There are many places available, but few candidates either for the costs or for the heaviness of a job that has no schedules and which commits the driver to spend several hours on the road, forgetting loved ones and family. It is therefore not an office job, but an excellent opportunity for a secure and profitable job, but not everyone is willing to make some sacrifices.
We said that the bonus tends to make the young person acquire not only the driving license but also the qualification card, which is necessary to drive vehicles with a full load mass exceeding 3.5 tons.
The application to obtain the subsidy is made online via a special platform and can also be presented by those with basic income.
