NEW MEASURES IN THE FIELD OF TRANSPORT IN EXCEPTIONAL CONDITIONS
The law that converted the Aid Decree bis introduced new measures on the subject of exceptional transport; in particular art. 9 bis provides that until 31 December 2022, the effectiveness of the provisions contained in the decree referred to in Article 10, paragraph 10-bis, of the Highway Code, referred to in Legislative Decree 30 April 1992, no. 285, in order to simplify the transitional rules laid down by the guidelines, adopted with the same decree, on transport in exceptional conditions, relating to safety checks for the transit of vehicles up to 86 tons. Until the same date, the discipline referred to in Article 10 of the Code referred to in Legislative Decree 30 April 1992 continues to apply to transport in exceptional conditions for a total mass up to 108 tons carried out by vehicles with eight or more axles. , no. 285, in force as of November 9, 2021. The permits for circulation already issued before the date of entry into force of the decree referred to in the aforementioned article 10, paragraph 10-bis also remain effective until their expiry ".
