THERMO KING NEW REFRIGERATION SYSTEMS COMING SOON
Thermo King, a leading refrigerated transport company, is presenting new single-temperature and multi-temperature refrigeration units for under chassis applications on rigid trucks, trailers and double deck loader trucks at the Hanover International Fair.
These units, which are available in both diesel and hybrid power, have a low noise level and better meet the needs of customers operating in the food and drug distribution sector.
This new application has a particularity and that is that it can switch directly from diesel to electric mode to reduce emissions and fuel consumption and also increase the flexibility of distribution operations.
The new design facilitates better access to serviceable components and contributes to longer maintenance intervals, contributing to lower service costs of up to 40% compared to previous applications. In addition, the weight is also lower than before, allowing transporters to have a lighter load of less than 40 kg.
The needs of customers require increasingly updated applications, because in city distribution the delivery operations are multiple, the transport of goods also takes place over long distances and this requires that perishable goods be easily and adequately stored; hence the design of these brand new units, which will be previewed at the international fair in Hanover from 20 to 25 September.
