The twenty-fourth edition of the Ecomondo fair in Rimini, the main reference event in Europe for the ecological transition and the new models of circular and regenerative economy, ended on 29 October.
In these times where awareness of environmental issues is very strong, this fair has been very successful also because it returned after the stop imposed by the pandemic to open its doors to the public and to occupy almost all of the available spaces, i.e. 90%.
Those who returned to Ecomondo, in fact witnessed the desire to restart, fully sharing the challenge for the green economy to create an even more competitive Italy capable of producing wealth without destroying the planet´s natural resources.
To testify this new attitude for the ecological transition was the Mercedes Benz which showcased its family jewels with specialized and safe vehicles to meet the many needs there are to win the environmental challenge, which was the leitmotif of the event. Rimini.
On display at the stand of the German car manufacturer were the Unimog U423 with OM934 engine in the Euro 6 Step E version, which this year celebrates its 75th anniversary, the Econic 2630 in its Euro 6 Step diesel version, of latest generation and especially suitable for municipal, waste collection and distribution services.
Furthermore, the new Actros, truck of the year 2020, which this year celebrates its 25th anniversary from the first production, could not be missing. And it is precisely a vehicle suitable for the editorial line of the Ecomondo fair, because it is particularly suitable for heavy distribution in the city and outside urban centers. It is also available in a 26-tonne truck version and up to four Euro 6 six-cylinder in-line engines with a zero-emission transport model.
Finally, there is also the Fuso Canter Euro 6 brand, which we have already had the opportunity to talk about in a previous article in view of its marketing in September.
