FIRST ORDERS OF THE NEW OPEL MOVANO
The Movano is an Opel van model that made the history of the German carmaker, serving millions of customers in various businesses. Today a new electric version is available with the aim of reducing consumption and therefore CO2 emissions into the atmosphere.
In the last G20 on climate that was held in Rome towards the end of October, the awareness has now grown that the planet is sick and if the right measures are not taken, the environmental crisis will be irreversible with serious damage to future generations. And that is why several vehicle models are coming out on the market that have sustainable mobility as a common denominator in order to meet the working needs of all professionals.
The new range of Opel Movano offers different versions, lengths and heights. The power of the 2.2-liter diesel engines - all complying with the strict Euro 6d emission standards - ranges from 88 kW (120 hp) to 121 kW (165 hp). The high torque at low revs ranges from 310 Newton meters at 1,500 rpm to 370 Nm at 1,750 rpm. The engines drive the front wheels and are mated to six-speed manual transmissions. This new model is not only sustainable from an environmental point of view, but also from an economic point of view, because maintenance, repairs and tire costs drop by about 20% and those for fuel by about 11%.
Purchase orders have already started with a price list starting at 25,000 and Opel´s is one of the most competitive offerings ever presented in such a competitive segment of large vans or light commercial vehicles.
