OPEL VIVARO ELECTRIC VERSION VAN OF THE YEAR 2021
In 2021, the prestigious "Van of the Year" award went to two vehicles from two distinct car manufacturers precisely to appreciate the characteristics that are now required of third millennium vehicles, namely vehicles with exclusive electric mobility. We have already talked about the Jumpy in electric version, now it is the turn of the Vivaro, the first fully electric Opel commercial vehicle, as well as one of the first to be placed on the market.
As we said by now, electric mobility is and will become increasingly important in many areas of our cities and the Opel Vivaro responds to these new needs with zero emissions and 100% fully electric.
From a technical point of view there are no changes compared to the traditional vehicle, as the load capacity has remained unchanged with a load volume of up to 6.6 cubic meters. As for the engine, we are talking about a 100KW / 136cv of maximum power, 260 Nm of maximum torque starting from 0 rpm and a maximum speed of 130 km / h. There are two different battery cuts offered, with a double range of up to 230 km or up to 330 km.Like all electric vehicles, the Vivaro is extremely quiet, but like few it has a regenerative braking system, that is, when the vehicle stops or slows down, practically the unspent energy is recovered when restarting.
The Opel Vivaro will be the first in a long line of electric vehicles, as the German automaker plans to electrify all of its vehicles by 2024, thus allowing its customers to choose the right one from a fairly wide range.
