NEW FORD TECHNOLOGY TO PREVENT ROAD ACCIDENTS

NEW FORD TECHNOLOGY TO PREVENT ROAD ACCIDENTS
When driving a heavy vehicle and the road conditions do not allow it with somewhat poor visibility, it is often not known what is around the corner, and knowing it becomes very useful to avoid possible road accidents. Now, thanks to a technological system prepared by Ford not only for trucks, but also for cars, it is possible to see at not close distances especially when there are curves or rather narrow angles.
This technological system is called (LHI) and stands for Local Hazard Information and helps drivers avoid the dangers on the road. In fact, this new hazard functionality is activated in real time and informs drivers of dangerous situations that may be on the roads before the relative sensors are activated. When the driver of the vehicle encounters sudden situations, such as queues, accidents, overturned loads, vehicles in the wrong direction, road works in progress or the presence of people and animals on the road, the LHI system is activated by sounding the alarm.
When the danger is signaled, a message is displayed on the vehicle that warns the driver of the danger, but it is not, in any case, a system that gives alarm on anything like the previous technological systems, but only important inconveniences that can also atmospheric phenomena like hailstorms or showers.
This system also works in connection, in the sense that the LHI is so efficient that it also provides information to multiple vehicles that are nearby, thus sharing information, which allows drivers to plan their trip, taking the most appropriate actions. Finally, Ford technology provides other notices from public authority databases.
