NEW SET UP OF IVECO STRALIS XP 570 WITH THE COLORS OF FERRARI
What we wouldn´t do to pay tribute to the legendary Ferrari and one of its most representative drivers, who made the history of the Maranello company by winning the Formula 1 world championship in 1975 and 1977. We are talking, in fact, about the great Niki Lauda died last May at the age of 70.
The Campania-based company Rinocustom, which specializes in the customization of trucks and heavy vehicles, made a curious preparation, transforming an Iveco Stralis XP 570 with the colors of Ferrari; practically the whole vehicle was colored red, in particular with those of the Ferrari 312 T with which it won the world championship in 1975. The work was commissioned by a Calabrese haulier, who obviously has a great passion for Ferrari and in particular for Niki Lauda.
The undertaking was not easy, because the Campania-based company Rinocustom had to work hard, especially to recover the photographic material, which served as a model for the realization of the work; in particular there is the roof of the cabin which was colored white, while at the base were applied some tricolor stripes with the writing in black "´Thank you Niki".
In the middle of the grille, a bar of yellow painted steel was applied and the tubes applied underneath the front end, as well as the roof-mounted headlight bar, were also made of super-polished steel. The hubs inside the alloy rims have been painted red with the central yellow nut. On both sides three yellow laurel wreaths were applied with the years of world championship victories 1975, 1977 and 1984, this last year was not with Ferrari, but with Mc Laren. Dulcis in fundo a serigraphed signature by Niki Lauda in white.
