OUT THE NEW IVECO S-WAY
The new Iveco S-Way, a new truck model destined to revolutionize the world of heavy transport, but also the habits of the same drivers who will find themselves with a driver will be presented next weekend in Sassuolo in the province of Modena. means that improves the liveability on board.
In fact, the new cabin has an exceptional consumption efficiency and several cutting-edge technologies with maximum connectivity compared to the previous models. Being a 100% connected vehicle, the driver has the possibility of being in constant contact with the fleet manager for assistance at any time of the day without being left alone behind the wheel.
The new S-Way replaces the Stralis and, as we said at the beginning, offers drivers a new cabin, entirely redesigned, because it has a more spacious environment, great driving comfort and many other features and comforts.
The designed design does not take into account the aesthetics, but the safety of the driver through a structure conforming to the ECE R.29.03 standard, optimizing aerodynamic performance and therefore achieving a reduction in consumption.
Another important feature of the model is also the total reduction of the operating cost, because having a split bumper means significantly reducing repair costs since the tinsmith would simply replace the damaged part and not the whole complex in the event of an accident.
Still on the subject of connectivity, the IVECO company has implemented a collaboration with Microsoft to develop a platform called the "Connectivity Box", which is a tool that allows the collection, processing and exchange of data in real time and is available also in app version.
The IVECO S-WAY has been designed in an ecological version with the Natural Power model, which allows a 99% reduction in particulate emissions, 90% in NO2 and 95% in CO2 emissions thanks to the use of biomethane.
How much does this new model cost? There are two types of fittings and prices range from 135,000 to 147,000 euros.
