GREAT SUCCESS FOR THE 28TH AUTOPROMOTEC EDITION WITH IMPORTANT NEWS
The twenty-eighth edition of Autopromotec, a biennial exhibition of automotive equipment and more, ended on Sunday 26 May in Bologna. There were five intense days of demonstration during which the professionals of the car and heavy transport sector were able to admire the best for maintenance and repair, but also to preview what future awaits us on servicing vehicles with a market increasingly characterized by autonomous driving and electrification.
Compared to the last edition of 2017, this year´s was presented with higher numbers with a 4.4% increase in the number of participating companies: the companies were, in fact, over 1,650 who chose the event as a showcase for its products and services. In addition, companies have been grouped by product category, in order to allow visitors to make targeted routes based on professional interests.
Autopromotec is not only an exhibition, but also an opportunity for training and study thanks to the preparation of a conference area, which offers a rich calendar of conferences and round tables on the most current issues that the repair market and aftermarket automotive can offer.
One of the novelties of this year, which has met with considerable success by capturing the attention of the public, has been the area of repair of the future with the X.0 project, where by now artificial intelligence in many cases replaces the human one with cutting-edge technological tools. Another very visited sector was that of the global tire retreading industry and today, more than ever, it is experiencing a moment of great challenges thanks to the competition from the Far East, which is on the market with much lower costs and cutting-edge technologies.
