A new truck battery
The Johnson Control company has launched a new truck battery at the Automokanica 2018 in Frankfurt which is the result of innovative technology, allowing it to prolong its life cycle and thus reducing the risk of remaining stationary on the road.
Today´s state-of-the-art trucks require advanced battery systems to ensure maximum performance and minimum total cost of ownership due to increased durability and improved reliability.
The new batteries also require an update in the maintenance that the current garage operators do not have; in fact Johnson Control has stipulated with Varta, a leading company in the administration of online courses, a memorandum of understanding for the activation of new online training courses to update technicians on these new batteries. More and more new generations of installers have to train thanks to the advance of technology and this is why companies are working in synergy to offer their customers the best services. The strategy includes optimization with information and tools that provide detailed battery mounting instructions for 98% of vehicles.
The battery is no longer the instrument that allows electricity to be delivered, but today it becomes the vital point of a half day by day.
The high demand for non-stop transport services requires lorries traveling for long periods of time and reducing the need for continuous battery replacement. Moreover, today´s trucks are equipped with greater comfort, so it is essential to have batteries that guarantee the reduction of running costs thanks to their longer life.
